Owing to failures on the part of the Bristol based Event and Film Production Company, Olympus Productions Limited, (producers of Perfect Woman film and headed by Mr Matthew John), Walkoncemore regretfully had to announce the cancellation of their fundraising event during the Cannes film festival on May 20th 2008 in France. Initial fees paid to the company in March 2008 personally by the founder of Walkoncemore are yet to be reimbursed.
Walkoncemore confirm that Event Organisers Olympus Productions Limited is no longer mandated to conduct business on behalf of the Charity.
"I am personally devastated that such ‘business professionals’ could incur such a catastrophe of this magnitude on a charity”, says Jen, Founder, Walkoncemore. ''We are working together with our solicitor and we will bounce back from this. Our commitment to the cause will never falter and we look forward to hosting a hugely successful event during next year's festival. Until then, we will continue with various other fundraiser's during the calendar year to channel funds toward this essential research. ''
